What can you learn from this workshop?
During this workshop you will learn the basic skills to write storyboards for animations in the style of the simple show videos. Focus of the workshop is:
After the workshop you can create and refine your storyboard, supported by the Simple Show Foundation team. The construction and production of the final product will be executed by the Simple Show Foundation. The video will be published under CC-BY-SA license on Wikimedia Commons.
Preparation, what do you need?
When registering, you are free to choose a topic for your storyboard. The only condition is that the subject is related to the Wikimedia movement. Some examples (Feel free to select one of these topics!):
1. Concept of free knowledge
2. What is / Who writes Wikipedia?
3. How can cultural institutions and Wikipedia / Wikimedia support each other?
4. Explanation on copyright / licensing
5. Uploading images to Wikimedia Commons
6. Add pictures/video’s to Wikipedia articles
7. How does Wikidata work?
